ABOUT
Shannon graduated from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ with dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and Communication. She also graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, NY with an Associate in Applied Science in Fashion Merchandising Management. Following a 10-year successful fashion industry career in Manhattan, she founded a business of her own prior to her career in commercial insurance.

Shannon is passionate about working with business owners to help them succeed and protect their livelihoods. As a business owner, Shannon understands the struggles and challenges of running a successful enterprise. She has first-hand knowledge about the financial hurdles that that Nottingham clients will encounter. Shannon is dedicated to protecting her clients by identifying and mitigating the risks that they will face. Nottingham’s proprietary risk management process identifies exposures and, in turn, mitigates those risks to increase the bottom line, achieve better results, and promote a safer workplace.

In addition to her licensure, Shannon is extensively trained and credentialed in the field of commercial insurance. She has achieved the following designations: Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI), Associate in General Insurance (AINS), and Accredited Cyber Risk Associate (ACRA).
